No. Pudu robots use VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). They use LiDAR and cameras to build a map of your facility naturally. This means you can change your warehouse layout without ripping up floor tape.
How does the robot interact with elevators and auto-doors?
We install a Pudu IoT module that interfaces with your facility's PLC or elevator controller. The robot communicates wirelessly to call the lift, select the floor, or trigger automatic doors to open as it approaches.
Is it safe to run alongside human workers?
